Heartland Fans Celebrate Super 4 Victory

Excited Fans March Through Owerri Metropolis
Supporters of Heartland FC of Owerri on Monday marched through major streets of the Owerri metropolis in celebration of the club’s victory at the Super 4 tournament in Kano.
Leader of the group, Bob Nzenwa, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) during the procession, that it was another history-making event by Heartland FC.
The procession had started from the Dan Anyiam Stadium, through Wetheral Road and Douglas Road, terminating at the Government House, Owerri.
According to him, all the fans of the club are happy to be associated with the club, particularly because of the victory. According to Nzenwa, with the recent successes of the club, Heartland FC has become the favourite to win the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup.
He enjoined the Imo State Government, owners of the club, to always support it with necessary incentives to boost the morale of the players.
Nzenwa also commended the General Manager of the club, Fan Ndubuoke, for his efforts at seeing to it that it performed well, urging him to remain focused in piloting the club's affairs.
