Ike Uche, Aluko Paint Spain, England With Goals

Martins, Odemwingie, Musa, Uchebo also hit the bulls eye for clubs    Obasi returns to Schalke bench

ENGLAND

Osaze Odemwingie (West Brom); John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses (Chelsea): Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie scored West Brom's winner and his fourth EPL goal of the season in the 51st minute on Saturday in the 2-1  victory against Chelsea that paraded John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses. Odemwingie assisted his side’s defenders  in curtailing the rampaging attacks of  Chelsea's wide men- especially compatriot Moses. Mikel played for 82 minutes before he was substituted by Ramires, while Moses played the entire duration of the game at The Hawthorns. The game was Mikel's 12th of the season, while Moses played his sixth game for the Blues.

Shola, Sammy Ameobi(Newcastle United): One-cap Super Eagles striker Oluwashola Ameobi was a 46th minute substitute on Saturday for Newcastle United in their 2-1 home loss against Swansea at St James' Park. The player who made his Nigeria debut last week in an international friendly against Venezuela, replaced Shaun Ferguson in the game which was his 8th of the season. For his younger brother Sammy, who has vowed to wait for a chance to play for England was in also in action, and it was his third game of the season. Both brothers linked up well  many times in the opposition half in the course of the game but all to no avail.

Victor Anichebe (Everton): Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe was not available for selection on Saturday as Everton were humbled 2-1 by Reading who grinded out their first win of the season at The Madjeski Stadium. The powerful striker is still out of action due to a hamstring injury he copped recently. He has played six games for the Toffees and has two goals to his credit this season.

Sone Aluko, Seyi Olofinjana (Hull City): Super Eagles fringe winger Omatsone Aluko continues to prove that he deserves another shot with the Super Eagles when he grabbed another brace for Hull City in the 14th and 20th minutes as his side recorded a 3-2 away win over Birmingham City. Both goals now take Aluko's return so far this season to eight in the npwer Championship in 17 matches. He has now played a total of 1,429 minutes of club football . The former Flying Eagles speedster was in action for 90 minutes, while his fellow Nigerian and forgotten Eagles midfielder, Seyi Olofinjana, played his 10th game of the season in which he has started in eight.

Dickson Etuhu (Blackburn Rovers): Out-of-favour Super Eagles midfielder Dickson Etuhu was part of Blackburn Rovers' team that destroyed Petersborough on Friday by winning 4-1 at the latter's London Road Stadium. The game was Etuhu's 16th npower Championship game of the season. He was in action for 90 minutes.

Magnus Okunoghae (Colchester United), Efe Sodje (Bury Town): Nigeria's Magnus Okunoghae played all 90 minutes on Saturday as Colchester United defeated Bury Town  2-0 at home. The game was the 18th League One game of the season for the defender. On the opposing side, Efe Sodje was an unused substitute. The former Eagles centre-back has played five times for his club thus far this season.

Danny Shittu (Millwall): Out favour Nigerian International Danny Shittu helped Millwall climbed to ninth place in the Championship on Sunday courtesy of a 1-0 win over a 10-man Leeds United at The Den stadium. It was Shittu's 12th game of the season in the Championship this term.

SPAIN

Obafemi Martins (Levante): Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins scored his fifth goal of the season in eight games for Levante as they piped Deportivo la Coruna 2-0 at La Riazor stadium on Sunday. The former Rubin Kazan striker who was a shadow of himself in the Eagles 3-1 win over Venezuela in a international friendly on Thursday in Miami, rounded off Deportivo la Coruna's goalie, Aranzubia confidently before stroking the ball into the empty net in the 39th minute. He was replaced in the 80th minute by Angel Luis Rodriguez.

Ikechukwu Uche (Villarreal): Super Eagles prolific striker Ike Uche grabbed a brace for Villarreal in their3-0 away win over Racing Santander on Saturday. Uche played for 79 minutes and scored his goals in the 39th and 53rd minutes. The skilful striker has now scored five goals in 12 Segunda Liga games for the Yellow Submarine this season.

RUSSIA

Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow): In-form Super Eagles winger cum striker Ahmed Musa scored his eighth goal of the season for CSKA Moscow as they thumped FK Amkar Perm' 3-0 at the Luziniki stadium on Sunday. The former VVV Venlo winger who grabbed a brace last weekend against Kuban Krasnodar scored CSKA's second goal in the 73rd minute of the encounter. He has played 15 games for the Russian league leaders this term.

Emmanuel Emenike (Sparta Moscow): Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike played his 14th league game on Saturday for all 90 minutes as Sparta Moscow drew 1-1 against Volga at the Nizhniy Novgorod Lokomotiv Stadium. The powerful striker was not on target to extend his goal haul for his Russian team. He has scored four times so far this season.

ITALY

Joel Obi (Inter Milan): Fit-again Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi was not listed for action for Inter Milan as they played out a 2-2 home draw against Cagliari at the Sansiro on Sunday. He has so far played one Serie A game against Catania this season.

Ogazi Ogenyi (Lazio): Super Eagles new-boy-on-the-block, Ogazi Ogenyi, was on the bench for all 90 minutes on  Saturday as Lazio held Juventus to a goalless draw in a Serie A game. The holding midfielder who scored his first  goal for Nigeria last week in the friendly against Venezuela has played just thrice for Lazio this season.

 Obiora Nwankwo (Padova): Super Eagles midfielder Obiora Nwankwo played for 77 minutes on Saturday in Padova's 3-1 away win over Cittadella. He was replaced by Allesandro De Vitis in the game which was his seventh of the season.

Osareiten Ebagua (Varese): Nigeria's Osaretein Ebagua was not listed in Varese's 2-0 away loss against Livorno on Saturday. He has played 11 times for his club in the Serie B this season.

UKRAINE

Michael Odibe (Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk): One-cap Super Eagles defender Michael Odibe was an unused substitute for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk who came from a goal down to defeat Tavriya 2-1 at the Respublikanskiy stadium on Sunday. The Arsenal Kiev loanee has so far chalked up nine appearances for Dnipro and has scored one goal so far this term.

Babatunde Michael (Kryvbas): Dream Team winger Babatunde Michael was not listed for action as Kryvbas defeated Vorskla 3-2 at home on Sunday. He has so far played seven games in the Ukrainian league this term.

Haruna Lukman, Taye Taiwo (Dynamo Kiev): Super Eagles duo of Taye Taiwo and Haruna Lukman played for 90 minutes each in Dynamo Kiev's 1-0 away loss to Metalurh Bonetsk on Saturday. The duo of Brown Ideye and Kazeem Yusuf Ayila were not listed.

Lucky Idahor (Zorya): Lucky Idahor played for 72 minutes before he was replaced by Maicon on Saturday in Zorya's 0-0 draw away against Meralurh Zaporishya. Idahor had thus played 15 games this season.

Turkey

Kalu Uche (Kasimpas,a); Gideon Sani (Akhisar Belediyespor): Super Eagles midfielder Kalu Uche failed to score in Kas?mpas,a's 2-0 away win over Akhisar Belediyespor who paraded a Nigerian player Gideon Sani for the entire duration of the encounter. Uche has so far scored six goals in 12 games in his debut season in the Turkish Super Liga, while Sani has played four games since helping his side gain promotion to the elite division.

Joseph Yobo (Fernabahce): Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo was in action for 90 minutes on Saturday after overcoming his injury setback as Fernabahce drew 1-1 against Eskisehiespor at the Eskirhispor Atarkuk. The game was the defender's 8th league game of the season.

Michael Eneramo (Sivasspor); Ekigho Ehiosun (Gengerbilgi): Out-of-favour Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo was in action on Saturday as his Turkish side Sivasspor played a 1--1 draw against Ekigho Ehiosun's Gengerebiligi. While Eneramo played for 90 minutes, Ehiosun was an unused substitute in the game. Eneramo has played 13 games this season for his side and scored four times, but Ehiosun is still yet to score for his club in six games.

GERMANY

Chinedu Obasi(Schalke 04): Super Eagles forward Chinedu Obasi who has been consistently hampered by injury of late returned to Schalke's bench on Saturday, but was not introduced into the action as the Delsenkirchen side lost 2-0 away to Bayer Leverkusen at The Bay Arena. Obasi has played just twice this season for his club.

Anthony Ujah (Cologne): Former U-23 invitee Anthony Ujah played for 70 minutes on Saturday before he was replaced by Mikael Ishak in Cologne's 2-0 away win over 1860 Munich. The striker who is on loan from Bundesliga side Mainz 04 has played ten games for his side this season.

FRANCE

Simon Zenke (Nancy): Former Flying Eagles striker Simon Zenke played for 76 minutes on Saturday for Nancy before he was substituted by Alou' Efoulou in Nancy's 3-3 draw against Troyes at the latter's Stade de l' Aube. The Kaduna-born striker has thus played seven Ligue 1 games this season. He was on hand to provide the assist that led to the third goal in the 45th minute.

John Utaka (Montpellier): Super Eagles forward and CAF nominee for the African Player of the Year, John Chukwudi Utaka , was not in action last weekend for Montpellier as they grinded out a 1-1 draw against Valenciennes on Saturday at Stade de Hainaut. Utaka has played eight games and scored one goal for La Paillade this season.

Onyekachi Apam(Rennes): Super Eagles defender Onyekachi Apam who is on the mend from injury was an unused substitute on Saturday at Parc de Princes where his club, Rennes defeated league leaders and money bags PSG 2-1. The injury-prone Eagles defender has played just twice this season for his club.

HOLLAND

Uche Nwofor (VVV Venlo): Former Flying Eagles striker at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia, Uche Nwofor,  played for only 13 minutes on Saturday after coming on to replace Robert Cullen in the 77th minute as VVV Venlo were beaten 2-0 by Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena. Nwofor has played 11 Eredevise games for Venlo this season and has three goals to his credit. His former Enugu Rangers teammate Alex Emenike Nkume was not listed.

 Kenneth Omeruo (ADO Den Haag): Former Flying Eagles striker Kenneth Omeruo was not listed for ADO Den Haag on Saturday as they were pummelled 6-1 by PSV Eidhoven at the Kyocera Stadium.


SCOTLAND

Efe Ambrose, Rabiu Ibrahim (Celtic): Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose played for 90 minutes on Saturday in Celtic's 2-0 away win over Aberdeen. The Bhoys are currently on top of the Scottish Premier League table with 25 points. It was Ambrose's 12th SPL game of the season, but Ibrahim is yet to play a single game for Celtic.

BELGIUM

Michael Uchebo(Cercle Brugge), Kennedy Nwanganga(Gek): Former Flying Eagles striker Michael Okechukwu Uchebo scored his first Jupiler goal on Saturday since his move from Dutch side VVV Venlo this summer. The former Enugu Rangers striker replaced Rudy in the 72nd minute and six minutes later was on the scorers' chart which turned out to be the winner as his club drubbed their opponents 3-1.

Derick Chuka Ogbu (OH Leauven): Nigeria's Derick Chuka Ogbu was in action for 90 minutes on Saturday and provided OH Leauven's assist for their consolation goal in the 82nd minute in their 3-1 loss to Mons at the club's Stadion Den Dref. It was the 16th game of the season for Ogbu.
